In an effort to enhance and expand the experience and exposure of our students, Emirates Diplomatic Academy has successfully hosted a series of speakers, roundtables, special debates, and simulations, and engaged in major national initiatives throughout the first academic year. While most of our activities are closed door events, we do make sure to communicate our public events.

As part of its participation in the UAE Innovation Week, an initiative launched by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the EDA organised a set of parallel brainstorming workshops under the title, ‘Innovation in Diplomacy Labs’, during which the Academy’s students presented their ideas to enhance diplomatic work and promote the status of the UAE regionally and globally.

This insightful lecture addressed the history of the UAE and the formation of the Union. H.E. Dr. Zaki Nusseibeh also spoke about the invaluable efforts made by Founding Father of the UAE, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, to establish the UAE Federation and make the country a key player in the international arena within a short period of time.
