Dr Sara Chehab

Assistant Professor

Dr Sara Chehab is Special Assistant to the Director of Education and Assistant Professor at the Emirates Diplomatic Academy (EDA), specialising in political science and international relations. She teaches International Economics, Political Economy, Energy Politics, and American Foreign Policy.  

Prior to this role, Dr Chehab was Assistant Professor at Zayed University in Dubai, where she received the Teaching Excellence Award.

Her published works include the article Social Networks and News: The Case of Emirati Women in Dubai. She also co-authored the chapter American Foreign Policy and the Continuing Struggle against Anti-Americanism in the Muslim World of the anthology National Security under the Obama Administration with Dr Muqtedar Khan.

Dr Chehab received her PhD in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Delaware in the US. She also holds a master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the same university as well as a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy from the Lebanese American University (LAU) in Lebanon.
